Description: Life is about choices, some are easier to make than others. In this course we will take a comprehensive look at the choices that individuals have made throughout the history of the US and the results that followed those decisions. The material we cover is designed to give you an introduction to topics related to the foundation of cultural and ethnic diversity in the US, the responsibilities of citizens, political issues, and fundamental philosophies that make up our democratic society. This is a hands on class which will require you to participate actively in class, take notes, and study.
Materials needed for class: 2 Notebooks to be used for US History only. Pen or pencil. 3 ring binder.
